The People to People Student Ambassador Program was founded in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The year 2006 marked the program's 50th anniversary. President Eisenhower believed that world peace could eventually be achieved if people from different countries interacted with one another. Thus, the program was created. I am honored to have been one of the select few people to be chosen as Student Ambassadors.

My name is Robert Watson, and I was a 16-year-old high school student from Pennsylvania, USA when I traveled to Australia. This web site documents my journey to the "land down under" as a Student Ambassador for People to People. I visited the beautiful country of Australia from July 8 to July 25, 2006. I hope to continue to keep this web site up and running, although updates are no longer being made on a regular basis. Please continue to browse the pages of the web site and contact me if you have any comments or questions. Several hundred pictures, as well as journal entries, are available for viewing.
